"Lola" es un pequeño cuadro que sigue la estela de "Patricia". Retratos inspirados en imágenes. Comencé "Lola" el 30 de octubre de 2017 y lo acabé el 5 de diciembre del mismo año. Fue un cuadro diferente en el sentido de que partí de un lienzo con un color grisáceo, casi negro, sobre el que fui dibujando con el mismo óleo la figura. Quizás por ello fue siempre un cuadro más oscuro que el resto de los que hice. De hecho, estuve luchando contra esa oscuridad hasta casi el final, cuando decidí cambiar el fondo oscuro por el azul turquesa y ya casi en el último día ese marrón anaranjado. El nombre me vino a la cabeza porque siempre me pareció que la chica tenía un aire latino, andaluz o incluso indio y Lola me parecía entonces muy indicado.

"Lola" is a small painting that follows the trail of "Patricia". Both are portraits inspired by images. I began "Lola" on October 30, 2017 and I finished it on December 5 of the same year. It was a different painting in the sense that I started from a canvas with a grayish, almost black color, on which I was drawing with the oil itself the figure. Maybe that's why it was always a darker picture than the rest of the ones I have done. In fact, I was fighting against that darkness until almost the end, when I decided to change the dark background by the turquoise blue and almost on the last day that orange brown. The title came to my mind because I always thought that the girl had a Latin, Andalusian or even Indian look and Lola seemed very appropriate then.
